Our History

The concept behind the Mobile Identification and Credentialing System™ (MICS) was developed by a firefighter and emergency first responder with extensive experience in disaster operations. After a number of large scale man-made and natural disasters, it became apparent that there was no active and secure way of identifying emergency responders who were on-scene. Being able to quickly and positively identify emergency responders, volunteers, victims, government officials and other individuals is crucial. Site and access control in New York City after 9/11, for example, posed a big problem initially for command staff and police officers.

The MICS solution helps solve the problem of identifying personnel at any incident by producing event specific credentials. Since you have the ability to design card templates on the fly, you can design cards to automatically expire or color code credentials based upon someone's level of access. Additionally, you can relocate your MICS solution to where you need it, when you need it. You are no longer tied to a central location to produce credentials.
