HDP Holographic Film
Fargo's custom and standard Holographic HDP Film consists of three layers to deliver the ultimate in card security:
- A top protective coating layer
- A middle metallized holography layer with high-secure covert and forensic Visual Security Elements (VSEs)
- A bottom High Definition Printing™ layer
These layers protect against the manipulation of printed data on a card. When combined with the reverse imaging capabilities of a Fargo HDP Series Card Printer/Encoder, the result is one of the most formidable visual security solutions available.

- Attempts to alter printed data by peeling or stripping the holographic layer result in clear evidence of tampering
- It is incredibly difficult to replicate a sophisticated holographic image on HDP Film
